I’ve had a passion for horses ever since I learned how to walk; which was with a Fisher Price horse toy! From then on, my bond with these magnificent creatures only grew stronger.

Throughout my upbringing, I found myself constantly enchanted by their grace and wisdom. It wasn't until later that I truly grasped their significance in my life and the depth of their perceptiveness.

At the age of 20, I embarked on a deeply personal journey with horses when I welcomed my first Quarter Horse, Cheyenne, into my life. She became so much more than just a horse; she became my anchor, my confidante, my unwavering support through every twist and turn of life's journey.

In moments of uncertainty and soul-searching, I found solace in her presence. Through her eyes, I discovered profound truths about myself, and in her gentle spirit, I found the courage to face life's challenges with resilience and grace. Cheyenne has been my steadfast companion, teaching me invaluable lessons of love, empathy, and self-discovery along the way.
Throughout the years, my herd has expanded to include a few more cherished members, each with their own unique stories, backgrounds, and, like all of us, a bit of baggage. Some arrived with health conditions requiring regular care and attention, ranging from allergies and respiratory issues to the natural effects of aging, calling for extra tender loving care.
In navigating their diverse needs, I've delved into various alternative approaches, always open to expanding my understanding and toolkit. It was during this exploration that I stumbled upon halotherapy—a remarkable and safe complementary treatment that has proven invaluable for addressing the array of ailments my beloved equine companions were facing.
Halotherapy has emerged as a beacon of hope, offering a gentle yet effective way to alleviate their discomfort and promote their overall well-being. Its holistic benefits have woven seamlessly into our care routine, providing relief and comfort to my precious herd in ways that continue to astound me.
However, there was a hurdle to overcome: halotherapy wasn't readily available in Canada for animals. But for those who know me well, they understand that obstacles only fuel my determination. So, I embarked on a journey to bring this beneficial treatment to my horses, dogs, and others in need.
With relentless perseverance, I immersed myself in the process of acquiring a halogenerator and setting up the necessary infrastructure. Despite the challenges and the steep learning curve, the results have been nothing short of remarkable. Witnessing my horses and dogs thrive—healthier, happier, and more relaxed, with boosted immune systems—has made every ounce of effort worthwhile.
Moreover, I've been blessed with the opportunity to extend this healing touch to other horses and pets in our communities. It's my way of giving back to these incredible animals who have offered so much to our clients at Equi-Soul.
